Licensed Acupuncturist, Chinese Herbalist
Lola grew up in Ukraine where Chinese medicine is respected and widely used. In her first career Lola was a software engineer. Lola’s study of Chinese medicine began in 2003 when her daughter Julia was diagnosed with ALL leukemia. Acupuncture helped Julia tremendously, and Julia’s acupuncturist, Tuan Nguyen, L.Ac. became Lola’s Chinese medicine mentor. Tuan is a third generation Daoist acupuncturist from Vietnam who taught Lola many uncommon and effective acupuncture techniques.
Lola graduated with a Master of Acupuncture from TAI (now Maryland University of Integrative Health) in 2008 and completed the Graduate Certificate in Chinese herbs in March of 2011.
After owning a busy practice in Maryland for many years, Lola recently moved to Los Angeles. Clinical experience made it clear to her that sleep is the most important factor in overall health. No other health issue can improve unless a person’s sleep quality and quantity are optimized. Acupuncture is probably the most effective natural modality for fixing sleep issues. Lola extensively studied, researched and learned from her peers and mentors to perfect her sleep protocol techniques. Now as a sleep expert, Lola’s mission is to improve sleep for all her patients.
Lola passionately engages with each patient focusing on getting her patients to sleep deeply and wake up energized, motivated, and enjoy their lives to the fullest.
